I have a baby quilt I am quilting right now that is only off white and black.Naomihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01335314382477952685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816121512164080677.post-5419208368578105542015-01-02T07:24:38.974-05:002015-01-02T07:24:38.974-05:00I am a big fan of black. I say go for it.Preetihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15363550140143647850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816121512164080677.post-48745011772667941832014-12-31T23:10:42.339-05:002014-12-31T23:10:42.339-05:00Both of your designs are very lovely. But grey is a nice alternative, too. Looks like you were having fun with the designing! and Happy New Year! I am percolating in my brain a navy, pink and white quilt for my DGD and will probably use navy for the background. I think that the overall feel and impact of a quilt is not in the individual colors but in how they work together and make you feel. I would be thrilled to receive either of these for a baby of mine. In fact that first one, has great movement and lovely secondary patterns. I say GO FOR IT.Camille Mendelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15180951003523058084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816121512164080677.post-25044018783284184782014-12-30T08:59:25.870-05:002014-12-30T08:59:25.870-05:00I like both of them but I have never used black in...I like both of them but I have never used black in a baby quilt before - don't know what is felt about that color for that useKaren - Quilts...etc.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07293429657903986492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816121512164080677.post-41759034330739352532014-12-29T23:59:59.209-05:002014-12-29T23:59:59.209-05:00Check with the parent of the baby to see how they ...Check with the parent of the baby to see how they feel about black.
