Ok so this is an off question I guess. I loved reading about the lil boys britches quilt. I have been looking for one to buy. When I was a little girl I lived with my grandma and grandpa. She made quilts and this was my favorite! When my grandpa passed away she remarried. Unfortunately. But when she passed he sold all of her quilts. I tried to get someone to make one but they said it was too complicated and they had never even heard of it before me. I know this is a long conversation and for that I’m sorry.
Glad you enjoyed the post! You know, you could always make your own version of your grandma’s quilt. There’s a modern tutorial here: https://grandmotherschoice.blogspot.com/2012/11/12-little-boys-breeches-dress-reform.html?m=1
That pattern first appeared in the Kansas City Star newspaper in 1934 and was the very last quilt pattern they reprinted in the paper in 1961. Good luck!
